OUR AIMS, OBJECTIVES AND PHILOSOPHY OF CARE

We will provide skilled care to enable people supported by us to achieve their optimum state of health and well-being, respect and encourage the right of independence of all Service Users. We will also, recognise the individual need for personal fulfilment and offer individualised programmes of meaningful activity to satisfy that need of Service Users and staff. The aims and objectives of the organisation are as follows:

To encourage service users or their representatives to participate as fully as possible in formulating their care plans and to provide access to personal files

To enable and support service users to retain their independence of thought and activity.

To meet the service user's physical and emotional needs in a dignified non-judgemental way.

To recognize the service user's diversity ensuring religious, cultural, racial and gender identities are respected and to request service users and their carers respect the rights of staff to the same non-discriminatory treatment.

To ensure that the forms of communication, language and address used are suitable for the needs of the service user.

To ensure that the service user is always treated with dignity and respect and that they are safeguarded from the risk of abuse.

To ensure that all information received in the course of carrying out our duties is treated with the utmost confidentiality and is not passed to any unauthorised persons. Records will be accurate and fit for purpose.

To be respectful of the services users personal privacy and space.

To ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

To ensure that the quality of the service provided is of the highest standards possible and to use appropriate methods to achieve this.

To ensure service users are provided with information concerning the services provided, and any changes to those services which may affect their well-being

Independence

It is our aim to promote the Service User's independence and personal dignity and to enable them to maintain control of their own affairs and remain within their own household as long as this their choice to do so.

How we maintain our Standards

At Priceless Care Services we take great in respecting and involving people who use our services and ensure to maintain the following:

:: Uphold and maintain the privacy, dignity and independence of people who use Priceless Care Services.

:: Put people who use Priceless Care Services at the centre of their care, treatment and support by enabling them to make decisions.

:: Provide information that supports people who use our services, or others acting on their behalf, to make decisions about their care, treatment and support.

:: Support people who use Priceless Care Services or others acting on their behalf, to understand the care, treatment and support provided.

:: Enable people who use our services to care for themselves where this is possible.

:: Encourage and enable people who use Priceless Care Services to be involved in how the service is run.

:: Encourage and enable people who use Priceless Care Services to be an active part of their community in appropriate settings.

We have embodied quality in our way of life and in everything we do. We define "quality" as delivering a service of care appropriate to each individual Service User's needs. We have a comprehensive Self-Assessment System which requires all of our Policies and work practices to be audited regularly to ensure that we maintain the standards we have set ourselves. Any "non-conforming" areas are corrected and reviewed for any other action that we may need to take to ensure that the problem is not repeated in the future.
