The realisation that everyday tasks have become a little more difficult then they used to be for you, or for an elderly loved one, is a difficult time. There can be a lot of uncertainty and anxiety, so it is important that you get the right information and speak to the right people about getting the best care.

At Priceless Care Services we provide a whole range of domiciliary services, these allow our Service Users to retain their independence and stay in the comfort of their own home whilst receiving the care they need. Our home care services are tailored to our service users needs and include but are not limited to:-

Personal Care Services

Personal Care Plan

A Personal Care Plan is the key document for your care. We will assess areas of risk and identify your needs, and this is recorded in your Personal Care Plan. We then decide how our staff can properly meet these needs, and this forms your Personal Care plan. Care Planning is continuously reviewed because people's needs change, sometimes on a daily basis, and we have to respond to these changes to make sure that we are delivering the right care for your needs. We will always seek your opinions and input when developing your Personal Care Plan, and making changes or amendments to it, to ensure that you are fully satisfied with the care you receive from us. We also recognise the value of involving your family members, relatives and friends in your Personal Care Plan if you should wish to invite them to participate.

PERSONAL CARE

This can range from assisting you with preparing toiletries, to washing, to having a shower or a bath.

PREPARATION OF MEALS & SNACKS

Our dedicated team are happy to prepare meals of your choice and exactly how you would like your meals cooked

PERSONAL SERVICES

We can support you to write cards for all celebrations, send them to your loved ones and do your shopping for you.

DOMESTIC & HOME HELP SERVICES

We are happy to support you with your daily domestic tasks or any kind of cleaning, we will do laundry and change bed linen, so you feel happy and refreshed in your own home

Home caring from 15 minutes to 24 hours a day

Home caring from 15 minutes to 24 hours a day: Whatever care you need to remain independent at home, we aim to support care for 15 mins to an hour (or more). It all depends on what level of support each individual requires

Respite and palliative care

Our dedicated team are trained to provide respite and palliative care to our service users'. Even at the drop of a hat if someone is in need of respite or palliative care we aim to give our support.

Night duty - awake - this service is for Service Users' who require frequent attention during the night.

Night duty - sitting - this service is for Service User who may need some attention during the night. Staff will expect only to be called periodically during the night.

Night duty - sleeping - this service ensures that the Service User is not left alone during the night. We do ask that a bed is provided for the support worker, who will be expected to sleep.

Bathing, dressing and undressing

We aim to promote independence, our team are very aware of the health and safety issues of safety at bathing times, just being there to offer assistance at these times can put loved ones minds at peace.

Assisting mobility

Keeping mobile is very important, so our staff will promote independence at all times, with up to date training it is important to us that all levels of safety is monitored at all times regarding mobility

Meal preparation and assistance with feeding

Our dedicated team will be very happy to assist to prepare a choice of meals for all our service users' and where needed will we assist with feeding.

Assistance with medication (prompting or administering)

All medication needs will be discussed in our initial consultation. We are trained to administer medication where needed, we aim to promote independence for our service users' to remain independent for as long as possible regarding their medication needs.

Shopping

Priceless care services know how difficult it may be to get out to do shopping. Our team are happy to take on the tasks of doing shopping even if it is one thing or a massive order, it is not a problem.

Housework including cleaning, laundry and ironing

All these tasks are included in our services, we know how important it is to be in a safe clean environment and feeling fresh with nice clean ironed clothes on.

Support to access leisure activities in the community

We encourage our service users' to join in the community activities, we are happy to assist in every way we can to give them our support wherever possible.

Attending medical appointments

It must be very daunting to our service users' who have to go to medical appointments but have no transport, we are happy to support wherever possible, we can arrange for all means of transport if we can not provide the appropriate transport

Going out for meals and social events

This is encouraged to all our service users' so they don't feel isolated in their own homes. We can arrange social events wherever possible for our service users' and aim to support them in every way we can.

The goal of End of Life Care is to help you and everyone affected by your illness to achieve the best quality of life during this period.

Palliative care

In respecting the wishes of service users we can offer palliative care at their homes so they can be more comfortable and surrounded by family members any time they choose.

Assistance for Parkinson's sufferers

We encourage the person with Parkinson's to lead as active and as normal a life as possible allow them to do things for themselves, even if it takes longer

Respite breaks for family based carers

Rather the upheaval of moving services users into a home. We would offer your loved one complete care and support in their own home while you are away, so you will have peace of mind that they are safe and happy in their own environment

Respite care will offer your loved one complete continuity of care in your absence and will enable you to enjoy reassurance and peace of mind while you are away.

Care for people of working age suffering with dementia
